Manager, Human Resources/ Education

As Manager of Human Resources and Education you will plans, coordinates, and directs day to day operations of Human Resources including training and development programs for the District by performing the following duties:
Manages day-to-day operations of Human Resources and Education Departments including direct supervision of staff.
Interprets HR and Education policies and changes or modifies policies to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, employment practices, operational objectives.
Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
Advises and guides management in interpretation and application of personnel policies, statutory regulations and programs to ensure the effective use of human resources is consistent with the strategic plan.
Represent the Human Resources department with personnel related issues. Advises management in facilitating conflict resolution activities.
Represent Human Resources to bargaining units related to discipline and MOU/policy interpretation.
Develops and implements employee engagement practices including monitoring trends, recommending improvements, coordinating improvement efforts.
Leads Just Culture activities in organization.
Assesses District's training and development plans to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develops and implements needs analysis studies, confers with directors and supervisors to determine training needs.
Designs, revises and conducts training sessions covering specified areas as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, regulatory requirements, upgrading, and leadership development.
Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs, District census cycles, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training. Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
Provides oversight of AHA Training site and its programs (BLS), including providing CPR classes as AHA BLS instructor.
Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
Complies with System policies and procedures.
Other duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: American Heart Association BLS Training Center Faculty. Preferred: Professional in Human Resource (PHR) or SHRM.
OTHER EXPERIENCE/
Qualifications:
Educator experience in Health Care filed, Minimum of one year management experience, Just Culture strongly preferred.
This is a full time benefited position, salary $82,986+DOE
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
