Patient Services Representative
Position
Summary:
This position under general supervision, operates as part of the care team performing a variety of functions such as greeting patients, patient registration, insurance coverage and verification, scheduling and telephone management.

Provides front desk support and customer service satisfaction to patients in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with performance standardsAnswer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional mannerAccesses EHR to communicate to clinical staff members and/or providers telephone encounters using SBAR format and/or appropriate smart phrasesBalances cash sheet and cash drawer in accordance with established standardsOperates a multi-line telephone consoleExperience Requirements:
Minimum one-year experience in customer service, preferably in a related clinical environmentEducation, Licensure & Certification Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalentAssociates degree or related healthcare certification, preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude,reliableAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to communicate in an active multi-office environmentAbility to efficiently operate all job-related office equipmentAbility to follow or provide verbal and written instructionsAbility to relate to persons with diverse educational,socioeconomic and ethnic backgroundsBasic to intermediate computer operationMathematical and/or analytical ability for basic to intermediateproblem solvingSpecialty knowledge of systems relating to job function Recommended Skills Analytical Attention To Detail Audio Equipments Clinical Works Communication Courtesy Apply to this job.
